Privacy Policy
Effective date: January 1, 2026
SeePins (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates this website (the “Service”). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Information collection and use
SeePins is designed to work without an account. We collect only the limited information needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service, as described below.
Personal data
SeePins does not require an account and does not ask you to submit personal information to download public content. We may collect limited data such as cookies and usage data as described below.
Usage data
Like most websites, our hosting provider may process technical request information such as your IP address, browser type, requested page, date and time, and diagnostic information needed for delivery, security, and abuse prevention. SeePins does not require this information to be linked to an account.
Browser storage and recent links
The downloader can remember up to six successful Pinterest links in your browser's local storage so you can reuse them. This recent-link list stays on your device, can be removed from the downloader, and is not an account or cloud history. We also use local storage to remember interface preferences.
- Recent-link storage — keeps up to six successful Pinterest links on your device.
- Preference storage — remembers choices made in the interface.
- Essential security data — may be processed by the hosting provider to protect the Service.
How Pinterest links are processed
For full Pinterest pin URLs, your browser requests public pin information directly from Pinterest's widget service. A pin.it short link may be sent to our resolver or configured edge service only to obtain the destination pin ID. Media previews and downloads may then be requested from Pinterest's pinimg.com media network. We do not host downloaded Pinterest media, and successful links may remain in your browser's recent-link storage as explained above.
Use of data
SeePins uses the collected data to:
- Provide and maintain the Service.
- Notify you about changes to our Service.
- Allow you to participate in interactive features when you choose to.
- Provide customer care and support.
- Provide analysis or valuable information so we can improve the Service.
- Monitor the usage of the Service.
- Detect, prevent, and address technical issues.
Analytics and advertising
SeePins does not currently load third-party advertising or analytics cookies in the public website. If this changes, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for consent before loading non-essential technologies.
Transfer of data
Your information, including personal data, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, or country where data-protection laws may differ. Your consent to this Privacy Policy, followed by your submission of such information, represents your agreement to that transfer. SeePins will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Disclosure of data
SeePins may disclose your personal data in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect and defend the rights or property of SeePins, prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service, protect the personal safety of users or the public, or protect against legal liability.
Security of data
The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Links to other sites
Our Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Erasure — ask us to delete your personal data in certain circumstances.

If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information; we do not sell your personal information.
